The following picks are planned for the remainder of the year. As you will see, there will be a break from organised picks towards Christmas and during January. On December 4th there will be the Christmas lighting up event which is expected to end around 9:30pm. Some of us will litter pick the Market Place and the length of the High Street. If you are able to help out on this pick, please contact us so that we know how many people are available.

Monday, 8 November – 10:30am – Meeting The Railway Walk car park on Station Road

To pick the Railway Walk (and hopefully collect any firework cases etc)

Friday, 12 November – 10:30am – Meeting at Timperleys

To pick Timperleys estate and surrounding area.

Monday, 15 November – 10:30am – Meeting Toppesfield car park

To pick the River Walk to Bridge Street car park, playground etc.

Friday, 19 November – 10:30am – Meeting Toppesfield car park

To pick Tinkers Lane, Layham Road and around sports ground.

Monday, 22 November – 10:30am – Meeting Pykenham Way

To pick Pykenham, Bradfield Avenue, Churchill Avenue and length of Charter Close.

Friday, 26 November – 10:30am – Meeting Pykenham Way

To pick from there to QD, Morrisons and surrounding area.

Monday, 29 November – 10:30am – Meeting Cox’s Park car park

To pick the Park, George Street and Yeoman Way.

No pick on Friday 3rd December

To pick the High Street, Market Place etc. following the Christmas Light Up event.

Monday, 6 December – 10:30am – Meeting Magdalen Road car park

To pick Calais Street rec, Angel Street and other roads off the High Street to Toppesfield Bridge.

Friday, 10 December – 10:30am – Meeting Pykenham Way – This will be the last official pick of the year

To pick from there to QD, Morrisons and surrounding area.

There will be no organised picks in January.

Grateful thanks to everyone who has litter picked this year, with the group or otherwise.

A reminder that volunteers on organised picks are covered by Hadleigh Town Council insurance, provided there are no more than 20 volunteers on a pick and within the boundary of Hadleigh, and litter picking only were there are pavements and it is safe to do so.
