This is planned as an opportunity for anyone to help tidy up the current state of the river, whatever their interest and whatever their view on how the river and the gates at Toppesfield weir should be managed. However things develop, Hadleigh should be able to have a river free from discarded road signs, broken brickwork, plastic rubbish and so on. We will meet at the pedestrian bridge just below Toppesfield weir, by the entrance to the football club, and we hope to have as many people come as possible. People coming should ideally wear rubber boots, and should bring gloves.
