To pick The River Walk, Tinkers Lane and around Layham Road Sports Ground. 

This year the Great British Spring Clean commences on Friday, 17 March until 2 April 2023.  If you wish to do extra litter picks to celebrate this event, you are welcome to borrow picks and hoops etc. but please return them.  Obviously these will not be official picks and you will therefore not be covered by the Group’s insurance.  As Cox’s Park and The Railway Walk are not included in this month’s schedule, you might like to cover those areas. 

As this email is being sent to potential new volunteers, and as a reminder to everyone, the Group is covered for insurance by Hadleigh Town Council up to a maximum of 20 people litter picking at any one time.  Hi-viz jackets must be worn, which are provided, along with picks, rubbish bags etc.  Volunteers must only pick on pavements and where it is safe to do so.
