A brilliant musician with an engagingly droll sense of humour, multi-reedsman Alan Barnes has won numerous British Jazz Awards for Best Clarinettist, Best Alto Saxophonist and Best Baritone Saxophonist. He is one of the UK’s most swinging, entertaining jazzmen and is perilously close to becoming a national treasure. In this new show, Alan explores the bluesier side of Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn and many more. Watch Alan in action here
