DESCRIPTION:This is planned as an opportunity for anyone to help tidy up the current state of the river\, whatever their interest and whatever their view on how the river and the gates at Toppesfield weir should be managed. However things develop\, Hadleigh should be able to have a river free from discarded road signs\, broken brickwork\, plastic rubbish and so on. We will meet at the pedestrian bridge just below Toppesfield weir\, by the entrance to the football club\, and we hope to have as many people come as possible. People coming should ideally wear rubber boots\, and should bring gloves.

DESCRIPTION:Alan and Beryl Meredith invite you to join them on the Gareth Meredith Memorial Walk in memory of their late son who loved walking. The walk will start at 10.30am at Boxford Health Centre and finish at Hadleigh Health Centre (5 1⁄2 miles). It is a non-competitive\, leisurely\, well-signed walk in beautiful countryside. Families and dogs (on the lead) are welcome. There is no joining fee\, but an optional donation to the Hadleigh and Boxford Medical Centre to purchase an infrared vein finder would be very much appreciated.
