On Saturday October 17th we will be at The Ansell Centre www.ansellcc.org.uk on Market Place in Hadleigh, just over the road from the Town Hall, which is shut for the time being. The Chris Ingham Quartet featuring, for his HJC debut, the great Alec Dankworth on bass, will present Hoagy! A celebration of the songbook of Hoagy Carmichael, the show includes his great hits Georgia On My Mind, Stardust & Lazybones amongst many others. Sold out twice at Ronnie Scott’s, the Hoagy album was in THE SUNDAY TIMES top ten releases of 2014 www.chrisingham.co.uk/celebrating-hoagy

On Saturday 17th we will do two performances, a matinee at 2pm and an evening show at 7pm. Numbers will be limited to 50 per performance to observe all appropriate regulations and advice and the room will be cleaned between shows. Tickets will be £17.50 and are only available in advance with payment (preferably) by BACS please. It would also help me if you have an idea of who you would like to sit with, I’m able to offer tables of up to six. There will not be a bar service for these gigs but the hall is licensed for you to bring your own wine, beer, whatever. You’ll also need to bring your own glasses, snacks if you like etc and it would be a great help to me if you could take everything away with you at the end of the performance.
