Elizabethan Dances


Historical Dance is the study of dances from the 12th -19th Centuries. It is explored by dancers, actors, and teachers along with those with an interest in social history, costume and etiquette. The development of dance as a performing art as well as an enjoyable pastime employs the practice of steps, gestures, courtesies and floor patterns.
IMPORTANT: Ladies and Gentlemen If you are coming along for the first time you only need comfortable clothing but smooth-soled flat or low heeled shoes are advisable but no trainers. Ladies are welcome to wear a full skirt.
