Wolves Wood is a woodland near Hadleigh, Suffolk. It is one of 7 ancient woodland areas within Suffolk. A ancient woodland is defined as a site that has been continuously occupied by woodland from the year 1600 or before. The circular woodland walk is about a mile long and is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
Wolves Wood is managed by the RSPB by rotational coppicing and is located six miles from Ipswich railway station, north east of Hadleigh. It is on the A1071, Ipswich Road. The wood has an area of 38.4 hectares and it is part of the Hintlesham Woods biological Site of Special Scientific Interest, and Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I.

Learn, Laugh and Live! There are now over 1000 U3A’s and we have over 260 members. The cost is £12 per year and the General meetings at the URC are to listen to monthly speakers. Membership is open equally to all, the only requirement being that you are no longer in full-time paid employment yet still have your marbles and a healthy interest in the world outside the confines of home and daytime television. Please see our extensive range of activities on the website. This includes our monthly speakers who play to a full house, alongside trips away and a variety of events in Hadleigh.
