We look forward to welcoming you to our 180th Show
The 179th Hadleigh Show on Saturday 19th May 2018 was a great family day out at our “Quintessentially British” event.
We were pleased to welcome Broke FMX to the main ring with their spectacular freestyle motocross display and trick show. Titan the Robot also toured the showground giving you a chance to get up close to this legendary attraction.
Other ringside entertainment included The Sheep Show, Little Nippers Terrier Racing, Vintage Tractors, Young Farmers Tug-o-War, The Dog & Duck Show, Dog Agility by TAG and the popular Hound parade.
The Education team focused on cows this year with our local schools celebrating The Suffolk Countryside in art.
The Cookery Demonstration area was back with mouth-watering food prepared and cooked by local chefs, led by Mark David of The Cooking Experience, Hadleigh.
Over 160 trade stands showcased their businesses including 42 local producers in the Food Hall and local caterers offered a wide range of tasty food and snacks to suit all the family. The Rural Craft and Art Marquees was, as usual, filled with a spectacle of colour and talented craftsmen whilst the Flower Show marked the end of WW1 with a focus on “Nostalgia and Memories”.
Livestock plays an important part in all our shows and with over 150 classes of cattle, sheep, goats and horses it was easy to get up close to these wonderful animals whilst they were judged.
We look forward to welcoming you to our 180th Show next year.
